This morning we had a healthy eating breakfast morning. This was organised by the Parents Association. We had a choice of Wheetabix or porridge. There was also strawberries , blueberries and raisins to go on top of our breakfast. The porridge was VERY tasty!! Everyone really enjoyed eating breakfast with their classmates in the GP room.

Miss Kinsella is on teaching practice in the infant room and is helping us all get into the festive spirit.

On Friday  the 20th of November Rebecca , Aoibhe and Denise represented the school in Birr Library against Oxmondtown N.S. The motion for the debate was :

"Children know how to use the internet safely"

The Seir Kieran's team were against this motion. Denise was the captain and she introduced and concluded the debate. Aoibhe was speaker two , followed by Rebecca. Oxmondtown school debated very well but they were no match for Seir Kieran's when the adjudicator added up the points.

In the new year our school will take part in the Laois/Offaly/Carlow quarter final.
