We started back to swimming lessons when we returned to school after the Christmas Break. We are attending Birr Swimming Pool every Thursday.Three instructors are helping us in the pool and at the end of every lesson we get some free time to play with our friends.....very important!!! 

​Hazel Greene is a very talented artist and textile designer. She lives in Shinrone and runs Bramber Studio with her husband. We are very lucky to have Hazel working with the children for six sessions this term. At present the children are using acrylic paint and they are painting a rural scene. Keep an eye out for the finished product! 

At the end of our school show the whole school joined together to sing Merry Christmas Everyone. Here is a picture of all of the children singing their hearts out.

Just before Christmas we put on a wonderful concert. Junior Infants to Second Class performed the Wriggly Nativity . Through song and spoken word, the story of the first Christmas was acted out by the children . The audience really enjoyed the work that the children and teachers put into the show which was very entertaining indeed.
