Clareen- Cumann na mBunscol Champions!18/5/16 Here is the captain, Luke, being presented with the cup. The school would like to congratulate the school's hurling panel for their excellent win against Coolderry on Wednesday the 18th of May in the Cumann na mBunscol B final. They won on a scoreline of 5-6 to 1-5 and hurled brilliantly. Goals from Faye, Luke and Conor helped to secure the win. Coolderry put up a great fight but Clareen were able to pull through and secure the victory. The boys and girls on the panel had put in a lot of work and thoroughly deserved to come out on top. The school and the parish are very proud of them. First Holy Communion17/5/2016 The children from second class celebrated their First Holy Communion on Sunday the 15th of May. Mrs.Williams prepared the children for the communion over the past few months. Fr.McEvoy performed the ceremony on the day. After the mass the children and their family and friends took advantage of the beautiful weather.  Camogie, Group C Final Win!!The school would like to congratulate the camogie panel who defeated Kilcormac in the division C final on Wednesday the 11th of May. The girls hurled brilliantly and thoroughly deserved the win. They are now in the division A final on Wednesday the 25th of May with Rath. Many of the panel are also involved in the hurling final which takes place on Wednesday the 18th of May. We are very proud of the girls and wish them the best of luck going forward.
